While many of the pages were to the point of ineligibility, the passage having been read seemed to glow with an eerie light. The dark glow of a sickly green mist flowing from the books pages to settle upon the hands of the reader. From the pages slowly ghastly skulls emerged, the book erupting a wind powerful enough to send one flying. But with hands held tight. the book seemed to refuse to let the reader go. The green mist slowly boiling into a liquid that began to pull them in. causing them to seem to be pulled into a portal. The experience pulls at the air in the lunges. Every cell burns as if by some horrid curse. Pulling, sinking deeper within. When they come to. the world they stand in is similar to where they'd found the book. But, at close inspection they're completely incorporeal objects hold no touch people do not see them. but the world unfolds. Around them lives run about. In the distance the world is engulfed in all out war. Corpses fill the field. anthros, humans, elves and dwarves. A single human woman stands with armor of a cold silver. Battered but not bloodied. Her body is straight. as if one of command. Her stature is tense. Ahead of her stands a single figure, barely able to keep his shaken form upright. He wears no armor and his body is covered in wounds, behind them both upon looking at either direction one can note that the camps regarding them seem to grow in size. Offering a choice.
A) Follow the anthros on the path leading to this singular event.
B) Follow the humans elves and dwarves.
The path you choose does not mean you can miss the other path nor does it mean your choice will effect the outcome.
