Weekly Update 9-11-09
Hope everyone had a good Labor Day...and time for the weekly update
Today is the 8th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks that destroyed the World Trade Center, and damaged the Pentagon in Washington D.C, along with Flight 93 that crashed in Pennsylvania after it's occupants fought back.
It was a dark time 8 years ago...but we're making progress.

It's a constant reminder for me...
Just sayin'
Fusion
Its God's job to Judge Bin Laden...not ours...however it is our job to arrange a face to face meeting...(^_-)
God Bless the ones on Flight 93 that Fought back...those are the Real Heros...
Maybe you should think less, you say stupid things when you think.

9/11 always makes me kind of sick, though. It's disturbing what people will do for stupid reasons.
Atheism fails to explain the meaning of life though you don't have to worry about burning in hell.
Also, I know it sounds cheesey, but you don't just stop existing. You still got all the people that have memories of you. My dog died this last May, but that doesn't mean he doesn't exist. We still have all the photos and memories of him.
*waves flag high from the M16*
Myself, I lit a candle on my Blessed Dead Shrine and said a prayer for the souls of all those who died in the attacks, but other than that have lived my life as normal.
A way to keep the nation's awareness constant.
If it is in any way a celebration, then it is a celebration for those who assisted, and the nation's union during such dark times.
A sign that even in the darkest of moments, we stand together and as strong as ever.
I like the idea Obama gave.
To not just remember on September, 11; but to go out and help those in need. A day for volunteers and charities to unite towards common goals....Yeah -smiles-
its just that talking about 9/11 usually makes me giggle, lmao
but really think about it, have some empathy.
still, its been 8 years, why must i keep brooding over it. i didnt know anyone personally, although people i know lost loved ones on 9/11.
if my parents or loved ones died, so what? i'd miss them, sure, but i'd get over it.
personally, if anyone is still crying, then...i dunno, lol.
my grandmother has already died, my mom's on her way with about a few months left, maybe less, and my dads in such bad shape i wouldn't be surprised if he left any moment now.
so to be honest, its no big deal, if its completely natural. it just sucks for those who were in the wrong place at the wrong time
i'd have to go to a foster home for the next 5 years of my life, not something i'd be looking forward to.
Eight years may seem like a long time but it's not
Your date falls into the time period of a war that was already happening :P
And I say people should move on because it was 8 years ago. There's nothing we can do about it now. We've already spent the trillions of dollars funding the war and used the countless lives of soldiers sent over there for some stupid war. We're not fighting for our allies or for our safety. If we were, we would have pulled out long ago.
"...a date which will live in infamy."
Bless our troops and the others who sacrifice so much to allow us to live our lives in such comfort.
along with the world.... all i can end this with is a god bless...
Though I was young when it happened, it affected everyone around me and myself. ;_;
May god grant the innocent lives who died unjustly eternal bliss and the heavens above
Peace &Love
