Spyro's Old Flame - Status Update

TLDR: I'm not gonna be able to have chapter 8 out this weekend as I had hoped, and will aim for a release next weekend instead!
So first of all, I just wanted to give a huge thank you to all! Thanks for reading and commenting, for messaging me and letting me know what you liked, what you didn't like, or even if it's just to beg me to let poor Flame be happy for once. You guys are the best!
I'm writing the journal because I've had a lot of people asking me when the next chapter is coming out and I figured it'd be better to let everyone know. Unfortunately, I'm not gonna be able to have it by tomorrow as I had previously hoped. Due to various, not very interesting, IRL reasons, I haven't had as much time to write lately, so rather than compromising on quality, I'm gonna be aiming for a release next weekend instead (or the weekend after that at the very latest!)
As for chapter 7...
While on the subject of quality... Some of you might have noticed a lot of typos and other problems with chapter 7 - even by my standards!. That's because I made the mistake of releasing an earlier draft version of chapter 7, rather than the finished version. (That's what you get for posting at 4 am lol). I've since then updated the submission with the newer version which gets rid of a lot of typos, improves things like body language and flow. There are also some minor improvements to dialog.
For example, this exchange from the final scene with Spyro and Flame is changed from this...
Flame coiled his tail nervously, looking at the grass. "... do you ever feel like what we've been doing lately is more than just... friends stuff?"
"You mean like wingmate stuff?" Spyro looked at him, head tilted like a confused puppy.
"Not exactly. More Like.. you know….” Flame rubbed his neck awkwardly, trying to find the right words. It didn't help that Spyro was looking at him like that either. “Like when you nuzzle me sometimes, or how we slept together. That's not something that dragons just do with anyone..."
"Okay..."
... to this:
Flame coiled his tail nervously, unsure how to proceed. "Do you ever... like... feel that maybe with how close we are, we might be more than just friends?"
Spyro snorted. “Yes, of course we're more than friends!”
Flame’s heart jumped in his chest. “Really!?”
“We are best friends!”
“That’s… that’s not what I meant, Spyro...”
“Oh…” Spyro scratched some dirt under his paw, looking away from Flame.
Obviously, I don't like making changes to a chapter that has already been released, but they're pretty minor and nothing that warrants a reread (nothing vital to the plot has changed). However, if you want to view all the changes, you can check out this comparison on Google Docs!. Anyway, that'll be all for now! Time to get back to writing! Thanks for reading!

Take your time, it'll all be good. Will wait eagerly, since it has been always something to look out for! Hehe.
Anyway, I do hope you’re doing fine. Don’t try to rush something like this, ok? My only concern is that you might forget this like your bolt series. Not saying you will, just a little worry of mine.
