Anyone know of a way it could be done in Photoshop on a separate layer so it looks like a proper camcorder UI?

I can always paint it on if it's not possible to do it -exactly-. But I figured I'd ask first.~

After much consideration, and a look at my current money situation, I have decided that I am still open for commissions. :O
I've finally gotten out of this rut I've been in for the past several months, where it was like pulling teeth to try to draw for an hour every night.
I think I may be a touch SAD in addition to my usual executive-function issues.~

So I think I don't need to do something drastic to kick myself in the pants externally for me to get going on my queue!

THAT BEING SAID, bear in mind that if you do want a commission from me, I would advise you to please be patient because there -will- be a wait. The older commissions hanging around at the top of the queue absolutely have to go first. It's not fair to the commissioners who have been waiting longest if I continue to push them to the back.

...I'm seriously thinking of taking on a few more commissions, bring the total queue to a nice round 20, and then going ROIGHT and temporarily closing until I can get crack down and get a number of them out of ze way.

So after spending much of the past month preparing for FC, then coming home, recovering -from- FC, then getting a 'cold' that wiped out my energy level for like a week, I have now revised and updated my commission queue to reflect the new peepz I've taken on!

I'm only just taking steps now towards possibly being able to attend FC!

But one of the things I need to have in place is a rooming situation.
I am unable to stay w/ the friend who put me up last year.
As such I am now looking for someone who's got some room space!

Here's the sitch -

I got a hotel room at Dealer's rate in the main hotel for the con.

But the people who were maybe going to room with me found they have a LARP that weekend.

So I am alone.

Hypothetically speaking (because I still need to confirm which room it is~),

I wish to thank all of you who are commissioning me for being so patient with me.

I am working with a life coach currently, funded by my vocational rehab. I have also filed an adult disability report for SSI.
These and a few other RL distractions have hindered my turnaround time as far as commissions go.
Though I am slowly getting back on that particular horse. The mental hurdle has been more of a challenge than I realized.

Basically, I want all you to know how thankful I am that you like my work enough to want to pay me to do something for you. And that you -will- have completed arts from me.
After all, I -want- to clear out some spots in my queue so I can have the opportunity to do -more-. :V

I had a random memory yesterday.
Richard Scarry was a big formative influence on me as far as anthros.

But there was something else I totally forgot about.

Visits to Grandmas house were a regular part of the first 31 years of my life.

It was a retelling of a story called "Dame Wiggins of Lee and Her Seven Wonderful Cats: A Humorous Tale", published in 1824.
This version was written by Wallace Wadsworth and illustrated by Elizabeth Webbe for Rand McNally in 1956.

And I swear to you these illustrations were one of the things that warped me for life.
I didn't realize that's what they did, but that's what they did.~

K, I'm trying to copy/dub mp3s onto a cassette.

I know I run a line-out from the comp plugged where the headphone jack goes.
I also know it has to go into the input of the cassette recorder.

Thing is, i don't know which input it's supposed to go into. >:3

Is it the input where the headphone jack would go, or is it the AC input in the back where the cord would go?

The answer would determine what kind of patch cord i would require.

All I know is the male-to-male cord I'm using from soundcard to headphone jack doesn't seem to do the trick.

Any advice would be helpful here.~

Just an update.

So: I've been doing this art curriculum/vocational rehab thing since February.
It wraps up next week.
I also have 2 gigs with my old band this weekend.

So of late, my speed at turning out commissions has been slower than I want it to be.
For that, I wanna apologize to anyone waiting on one from me.

I promise starting next week I should be ramping up back to normal.
Just with focusing on producing work for my portfolio, and a resume and an artist's bio and all that, it's been more draining than I expected it to be.

I'm over the moon that so many of you are interested in a piece of art from me. :3
