General | Posted 10 years agoI just finished my first week of my 2nd year of vet school!!! YAY!! and it waas also my birthday weekend. here were my shenanigans this week:
Wednesday
Well today we didn’t do much but sit in a humid class room listen and meeting our new teachers. My classes I had today was Pathology, Parasitology, and immunology. We normally were supposed to start at 8 am, but due to one of our teachers passing away this summer, and still not having a teacher, we started later. Also the teacher that was going to teach another substituted class, but he was teaching the first years, so we did not have a first class. After lunch we got started running in Pathology, as we started a 2 hour lecture… lol
Thursday
OMG… this day was on ten!!! Well it started out decently I went to all my classes. Which were virology epidemiology and virology/immunology lab. The lab was long.. and boring, but the good thing is that it was a half day and we were done at 12!! –happeh dance- Soo I am thinking about gong home.. until it hit me.. I had an OTS (veterinary fraternity) meeting.. at 4pm!! –sighs-A few friends were going to go walking as we are trying to help each other stay healthy and exercise. So I was like “sure!! I need to exercise and then we can study!!! After walking (and dying slowly as I did so) we chilled a bit and then had out OTS meeting a little later. That meeting.. got everyone’s blood boiling… that is all I will say on that.
Well as I am dying of starvation, I head to subway and get me a salad, and then head to the gas station and get gas. As I do so… this Purple SUV comes riding up as this older man comes out… tattoos and grill… he was basically hitting on me talking about how beautiful I am and how he wants to take me out and how he likes good girls… and I should go visit him in Montgomery… he ask me for my number and I went dumb saying that my pone was dead and I was too tired to remember my number… I wrote his down, as he told me to call…which I ereased later.
So I drive home to find the power is out.. and it’s hot… and still haven’t eaten and I have assignments to do I drive back to school to do them.
I was able to finish them, and I get home to have the power back on,,, but have my alarm going off cause these stupid fake nails!!! –face palm-
This was my day….
Friday
MY BIRTHDAY!!! Sucks I still had school, but my classmates wish me a happy birthday through song!! It made my day!! I was then able to head to Birmingham to spend time with my mom and brother befor they left Saturday.
My babe, itamatchi surprised me with some of the cutest icons of our characters Harle and Deshinu, I cried as it made my night!!!
Saturday
My mommy and bro had to leave today.. but before that my mom treated me to a birthday breakfast at waffle house!!! I loved it and ate most of the food which usually don’t. We talked with a waitress whos jaw dropped when I told her that I was in my 2nd year in vet school. She thought I was a sophomore or junior in high school.
Later after we dropped my mom and brother off to the bus, I went back toward my place and to Auburn to a friend’s house to have our “Asian Night”. Due to everyone’s funds, we were all able to bring our pennies together and ordered some Chinese food, and we tried a bit of everything, which I really enjoyed!!! We were watching a Jackie Chan movie, I was surprised as they got me a cupcake cake and they sung me happy birthday!!! –tears up- I have awesome friends. While halfway paying attention to the movie One of my friends ordered these Japanese “candies,” where they are themed, I got the hamburger ones. You get packets and put some water in them..Some you microwave and you put things together. They were some interesting things… the ones that we had, did not taste to good, but we had soo much fun!!!

Fauxy's Life update!!!

I usually don’t do many updates, but this time I have had so many things and blessings flow into my life. I just wanted to share them with you guys:
I know many people have noticed that I have been spitting out pictures like crazy.. lol I have been wanted to do more personal things, but with so many trades I haven’t really got to do it… But hopefully I will be able to make a guardian mode for my new babe, Om the angel dragon! I have also been trying to do a NSFW picture, but it hasn’t been going my way, and with birthdays coming close I probably might not get to do it unless it is a birthday pic for meh. But I will see how everything works…
In less than 2 weeks I will be headed to Tuskegee Alabama to start the next chapter in my life: getting my Doctorate of veterinary degree. It will get me closer to my ultimate goal, to become a veterinarian. I have been worrying so much about what to do, because I had no place to stay and no car, but By the grace of God I have both (car info is in Birthday section). I will be living at a 4 bed 2 bathroom place with a lil pool too!! It is about 15 minutes from the campus, and it was cheaper than most of the places that we were looking at. And it will be me and another roommate, and I think I will be meeting him soon.. And yes you heard me right…Him. My new housemate is a guy!!! –Laughs- this will be a very interesting experience, not only am I truly of campus, but my new housemate is a male, this.. year. I cannot wait… I think. In a bit I will be able to go to a freshman orientation with many amazing things like swimming and hiking!!! I cannot wait!!! I hope to be able to meet new people and make new friends. I want to do better than I did in undergrad.
Omg, it is getting closer and closer to my birthday, as I will be the awesome 22 years old on the 21 of August!!! Sadly school starts on the 20th so I won’t be able to do much since I will be in school, nut my mom gave me such an awesome thing!!!

Congrats!!!
I am now the new owner of a 2014 Corrola LE!!!! By the grace of God, we had some things go wrong with one car, and I got upgraded to this beauty!!! I was so excited my mother and I started crying!!! It has all the bells and whistles from a rear camera to bluetooth and voice activation. Thank you Lord for being in his favor. It is getting closer to school and it looks like I have a place to stay and a car to drive. Thank you God.. Thank you God. When we were leaving out, I looked and has the biggest brain fat.. and I could not put it into drive. My mom and ppl at the dealership started laughing at me!!! –blushes deeply-
If you go to Toyota in Mckinney, PLEASE I recommend Mr. John Baldwin and Mr. Todd Knickman, they were the amazing people that stayed with us for hours and helped us work this out!!!
And I am not the only one with birthdays in august, My mommies is on the 4th, Jamie one of my sisters, hers is the 10th, and
OshiiRyuu my other sis has her birthday on the 12th. I won’t be able to do much or buy much for them, but I hope to have pics for my sisters on the days of their birthdays!!! >w<
On my sis’s , Jaimie’s bday, I will hopefully be able to spend time with her , and do things, like movies and food, before.. I.. have to.. leave.. –cries- WHY!!!! These FEELZ!!!!

Life Update/ Akon 25 Meme
General | Posted 12 years agoSorry for not doing updates, I really don’t have a lot of things going on in life, so when I have a few things going on, then I will post a few things about my life!!
As of May 3rd, I am officially an alumni at Florida A&M University!! I am Suma Cum Laude, with the GPA 3.7, and I had some cords based on my GPA, and also being in alpha kappa Mu, a honor society. I had amazing friends and family show up at my graduation, like my grandmother, best friend/sister, and a lot of people I work for and even some great teachers. I got many amazing things, like a lovely necklace from my mom, and a beautiful plaque from the lady I work for. I got a galaxy S4and a tablet from my grandparents!! I was so surprised I almost started crying.
We went to Bucca Di Beppo, a Italian restaurant based on their large proportions. I was barely able to eat it all!! –laughs- but over all I had a great time!
I also got accepted to Tuskegee University, so I can get my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine!!! I will start in the fall 2014!!!
I just had an interview today at half price books. They are doing a seasonal job, as a cashier. I really need a job, because I would like to be able to do a little bit more on things. Pray for me on this job!!!
I have been trying to do a little bit of drawing over the summer. I need to do alittle bit more. I am thinking about opening for commissions, and might even do a few streams. I have been enjoying my sis OshiiRyuu streams, so I am really thinking about it. I am wondering if anyone would like to see me do a few streams? Also would anyone like to get something from me?
I am still trying to attempt to make my first fur suit. It was going to be of my fursona, Fauxy. I have my ref sheet drawn, but I don’t have money, or the job to get money to get my stuff. –sighs- and then storage of the suit. I was thinking about the garage, but in the summer it gets really hot.. –pouts- so I am not so sure. But I really hope to make her, but there is still summer, so I still have time.

Driving from Mckinney Tx!! My mom might take me to the hotel on Thursday, since I will be dong volunteering and also going to the masquerade that night!!>w<

I found out that i will be having a large project ahead of me this summer. I will be moving deeper into the furry fandom, and will be making my first ever fursuit!!
-smiles happily- i am really nervous as i have not taken such a large job before, but I hope with help from my watchers and friends, i hope to make this project a success!!

Mirromy contest, I had to give up.
I wasn't giving him the love and affection that he needed and that he deserved. Looking around for someone to take him into a loving home, I met a amazing person

August 21st, today, is this fruit bat dingo dino's birthday! I turned the awesome 21!!
I feel the same as I felt yesterday, and even with the drinking, I am not a drinker, so it really doesn't apply
...to me.
I was able to get my sis, OshiiRyuu to come to my house to spend my birthday with me, but It seemed that was the only thing that went right. I asked some people to come to the movies with me, but they all had to bail out, due to work, which I understood. The theater called I Pic is like an uppity studio movie grill, with few movies and somewhat decent food. The movie I wanted to see had a first movie that was way to late, and my sis would be gone. So i had to choose a movie, on the spot.
We went to I Pic, and the place was beautiful! they had these large incline plush seats with a set of cover and pillow to relax while you watched the movie. -smiles- I really enjoyed the experience overall, even though the food wasn't as good.
After a hour later, my sissy had to go back home, as she has to start school tomorrow -tears up-. Even though nothing went as planned, we planned as it went lol.
I enjoyed seeing my sissy, even though I had somethings that were in my head, some were conversations that we had, others, had nothing to do with her. But just her being there, really made my day. Oh!! And my brother got me a sweatshirt and a to go mug! -smiles- I loved them!!

Sorry I have not been on much as I want to, I have been having alot of things going on this summer, so for now I will go over everything:
Alas, this was my last summer for my internship for USDA. And ths time a friend and I we worked at the office in Austin, Tx. We were going through so much of the work, they were having a hard time trying to find us thing to do... lol, You know how the government likes to take their sweet time with things. So we started to do the same thing, well wee tried, we even found a secret quiet place to hang out while we worked. It was nice. I will miss working at the office, and a lot of the workers there. They were a great help, And I had a great opportunity to be able to work with them.
I was able to be pushed up to and animal handler at the SPCA! -smiles- I was sooo happy that I was now able to have hands on with the dogs and cats that were there. We would go and take the dogs out and let them play after they ate, and we would then clean thier kennels. we would bring them in, and make sure everything was ok. Later in the evening, we would feed them and walk them. they had so many different personalities that made them each unique in their own way. My favorite and and older female Rottie named Bella. -smiles- She looked like a huge bear, and being a rottweiler she would waddle when she moved. but she wouldn't pull at her collar and leash or nothing -sighs- i miss her.
Oh!! I was able to have the amazing opportunity to shadow at a Taxidermy place! It was so cool! I was able to talk to them a lot and get many questions answered. They only do hard mounts, but even then I was able to learn a lot. I would LOVE to do taxidermy as a hobby some day -smiles-.
I just came back last weekend from studying abroad in Costa Rica for 5 weeks. the trip over all was great opportunity, but due to me being thrown into a Spanish speaking country with little to no Spanish experience, I felt very left out. I lived with a host family and three roommates. the parents only knew Spanish, but their older kids knew a little bit of English, but wouldn't see them a lot, so it made breakfast and dinner very awkward, sometimes, i would just miss dinner so I wouldn't have to be down there.
There were a few times that I broke down crying as I wanted to go home. but I new that i was stuck there. But even though there was some bad, there was also some good. I was able to swim in a waterfall! The place was called Rio Celeste, which means "Light Blue river" in Spanish. It was called that because of the beautiful light blue water that came from the carbon carbonate and the sulfur. Usually you won't suppose to swim in it, but that never stopped anyone.. LOL. the landscape in Costa Rica was so luscious and beautiful I could sit and stare at it for days. but there was a down side, and it came in the form of blood sucking insects called mosquitoes... omg, They devoured my arms so bad, it looked like I had chicken pox. they were up my arm and my shoulders and all on my ankles. And we were putting so much OFF on, but it seemed to attract them more. I think they were bio engineered...
But i was able to meet a lot of cool friends there, I also found some that loved anime aas much as me! >w< we even found manga cafe about 15 miin. from us! IT WAS SO COOL!! the smoothies were awesome, and the staff were so cool. I so wanna work at a place like that.. -sighs dreamily-
Overall, it was great, but I had many regrets, which at the end hindered me from having a lot more fun than I did, but it was an amazing place, but i am NOT going back anytime soon.
My mom has been very busy with trying to get us ready, She is always doing things for us and the church. Sometimes i wonder if she actually rest sometimes. Sometimes i wish, I could help some -sighs-.
I missed my mommy's bday due to being in Costa Rica, but I was able to talk to her and wish her a happy birthday. It really means a Lot to hear my mom's voice. -smiles- I am proud to be a momma's girl... lol.
Pray for my family, We have been going through a few things, one thing was a aunt that i was very close to, she past away at the beginning of last month. i didn't know anything until this month. My mom didn't want the news to hinder me in having fun in Costa Rica. Just pray for us, I know everything will get better.
I was able to go over to my sis OshiiRyuu house for her birthday! I was able to give her a beautiful unique necklace made up of bananas and orange peels, -ears lower and blushes- I hope she will be able to wear it. We went to the mall and we saw "Pacific Rim" OMG, That was an amazing movie! I can't even describe it, you will have t go see it to know what I m talking about. I was glad that i was able to see m sis, and I will get to see her again on my birthday before I have to go back to Florida!!!
Omg, I am going to college as a senior! one more year!! then! 4 more years in grad school. I am going to get my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. I have so much to do an not enough time to do it. I have to take the GRE tomorrow, that I wasn't able to study like I want and also I need to start on doing these applications. it is almost $200 for just one!! -sighs- and i have two schools, and two applications for each school. -sighs- I just hope, that i do well and get into my first choice, Texas A&M. I really hope so.
I have been having the hardest time with trying to get a transcript from my school, and I can't get anyone. I got screamed at by my mentor because of it. My mom had to get on it to get answers. I found out that they have messed up my account since 2011. -sighs-. I shouldn't be surprised but I NEED these transcripts for my applications and for my internship, THEN I found out that I wasn't awarded my Financial Aid for the summer UGH!!! I am just fed up with this school. I can't wait to leave, and I am not turning back.

I am so far behind on my ref sheets and I need to color my art trades, I have no money for many commissions that I want. -ear lower- I have been In a art depression for a little while. I want to apologize to everyone, I will get stuff up when i can.
I am just lost when it comes to my art. Sometimes it is good one time, then horrible the next. I fee like i am drowning. I want to get better, people tell me I have, but.. i just don't see it. I feel my art is mediocre at best. I have a art style crisis. I am trying to find a style that would be unique to me that i like, But I just haven't found anything, and its rel upsetting me. I want to be able to do commissions, but i just feel my art isn't worth it -ears lower- I hope to have a time where i am proud of my work, but sometimes i wonder if it will ever come.

Vacation is Ending and School is fixing to start
General | Posted 13 years agoOmg... i can't believe that school starts for me tomorrow.. -want to cry- I made it back to Tallahassee.. with my crappy roommate, loud ass house mates.. and a school that i don't wanna be in.
Well my vacation was good! I got to see my sissy , OshiiRyuu It was great!!! We saw DJANGO!!! IT WAS AWESOME!!!! We were able to do some drawings and i was able to watch all of Beauty and the Beast!! I loved it!! i can't wait to start watching it!!!We were be to get some stuff for akon as well which makes me happy!!! and we are talking about trying to get some plushies and some other things. I got to see my other sissy as well... and my cousins and my grandparents and other family.
The dreaded belly bug went through our family...my mommy and bro bro are doing well and thank you my friends and watchers for the prayers. I was the last one to get it.. and due to my small size... it hit me worse. It hit me during Thursday. I wasn't able to keep anything down, and passed out twice and had to be sent the the hospital in a ambulance.
The Gave me an IV, an I am doing better, still trying to eat some things.. and stop the dizzy spells. But I am fine, You don't need to worry.
They only thing i'm worried about is trying to get out of this dorm room... Keep me in your prayers, and hope I can get this single dorm room, or have another quiet roommate.
well... this lil update wasn't much, I will post up a monthly update close to the end of January.

Omg... the year is almost over...

-looks around- Where has the year gone.... it seemed like it was yesterday when i was starting my second semester sophomore year... -smiles softly- I thank God first and foremost for being able to let me see another new year.
I look on this year... from the good times.. the crappy times, and the times in between... -ears lower- to be truthful... I seemed to have more crappy days than good ones... My worry for my few friends and family, as well as the mental fight that i have with myself... kinda sot it down. -looks-
But I want to thank my watchers and my friends, that read what i type, even if you don't reply. it really means a lot to me.. to have people who care.. to even listen. -smiles-

My sis, and I had things planned that we had to put on the back burner... but its ok, because I know we will get to it!! >w<.
I usually don't do new years resolutions, but if i did... I would have one main one...
"To better myself, and my self esteem about myself..."
I try to hep others, but when i'm done, the only person that I have is me... And because Of how i think about myself, it makes others not want to be around me... it makes me afraid to be around others, because of my fears.
I need to learn to bring myself up.... in everything that i do.. even from drawing a crappy picture, to just sitting on and looking at myself in the mirror.
Cause if I don't care about myself, then other won't either...
"smiles- buuuut on a better note.. GUESS WHO GOT A NEW LAPPY? -points- this Dingo hybrid did!!! -smiles and huggles it- I told my mom if i didn't get anything for christmas.. a lappy would be good enough for me... and i got it!! -tears of happiness- its small... and i don't have to worry about ppl calling telling me what i can and cannot put on it!! -happy dance- i have been playing with it for a while and i am really enjoying it.
I will be headed back to Florida in about another week... going back to the hell hole they call a school and the demon that calls herself my roommate... please. pray for me...

Fauxy here, I know I haven't been uploading a lot of things... but between school... and my homework...
I have to somehow find the time to take care of myself. -smiles softly-
Well i am doing better this month, and i'm glad that i am alive, because there are people who went to bed, and did not wake up. My update, might turn into a little rant, so be mindful of it.. Thank you!!
Well... first topic is, school.
Its been, very, very, Long... I have been doing group exams and presentations up the booty.. -giggles- I've been having to do most of the work in my groups, because some of them have been slacking and love waiting til the last minute. Which is a REALLY BIG pet peeve of mine. It makes it worse, because i had so many other projects to do, I have been trying to get a hold of people, but no one seemed
to reply back. i got about a couple of people that did, and to make matters worse... it was homecoming... oh GAWD.. how I hate homecoming.
Even through all of that, we were able to get the presentation, and well as the take home exam done, which made me very happy.
I find out that with in the last two weeks, I have like 7-8 exams as well as a paper... And i have no idea how i can study everything that is needed....
Today I have another presentation in Microbiology, i had a big problem with my partner and her doing her part... I did mostly everything, form the PowerPoint to the paper. and it took her a month to do 5 slides!!! its a mess... i wonder about the students at this school. But at the end we got everything done.
i get there, and find out shes not there... I started freaking out, because a lot of people did not show up... but my partner came, and we presented, and i think we did really well.
I just found out.. that i have not only organic exam next week, but the final rite after....!!! UGH!!! i wish teachers actually teach, a lot seem to be missing that memo, and because of that, students are failing...
Next, Thanksgiving!!
HAPPY LATE TURKEY DAY!!!!
I hope everyone had a safe and wonderful thanksgiving.
Mine wasn't to eventful, good news, was i didn't have to listen to my roommate's complaining all break!! it was like heaven!\I didn't get to have turkey or anything, and i really missed it, but my friend and I were able to go to the movies and see Wreck-it Ralph!! OMG!! It was a great movie, and being a even better friend.. I won't even tell you about it!! -giggles-
OH!!! and guess who saw the first two seasons of MLP:FIM!!?? -points- this dingo hybrid did!!! it was AMAZING!!!! Canterlot wedding was my fave!!! and the hooves and hearts day... -giggles- maybe cause big mac actually said more than a few words...but hopefully this weekend i can watch season 3 and catch up.
Roommate came back complaining, i couldn't even sing the songs in the canterlot episode... i wanted to cry... -sighs- but i got 2 more weeks til break...
I ended up getting a small respiratory infection and alil high blood pressure, got some antibiotics, and been taking it during the break.
It was also my grandfathers bday on the 25th!!! I found out that they almost got their house burned down, due to I think a leakage in the house, and wires,
But thank God, that nothing happened, and the fire department found it before anything happened.
ok... hmm.. oh yes my drawing!!!
Well with the help of my sis... i was able to find my hidden muse!!! -applause- I started a ref in it and would have it up.. sometime, eventually. I have been drawing some pics on and off... I know i have some art trades and contests and badges to do.. and do not worry they will get done!!!
But between school and work, and finals week coming up.. im going crazy. -tail sways-
I now have a new obsession with God of war 3, was watching my friend play the game.... i will need to post up the pics that i did for them of my fursona Kit and her mate, Aden...-flails-.. ok.. ill stop before i go all off in left field, because i seem to do that a lot.
Well, overall, I am doing well... I miss my friends in Texas, and I hope to be able to see some of you over Christmas!!
Also, I am thinking about doing commissions, i was seeing what did my watchers think about it...? Plz I would love to have some feedback on it..

Which is a REALLY BIG pet peeve of mine. It makes it worse, because i had so many other projects to do, I have been trying to get a hold of people, but no one seemed
to reply back. i got about a couple of people that did, and to make matters worse... it was homecoming... oh GAWD.. how I hate homecoming.
Even through all of that, we were able to get the presentation, and well as the take home exam done, which made me very happy.
I find out that with in the last two weeks, I have like 7-8 exams as well as a paper... And i have no idea how i can study everything that is needed....
Today I have another presentation in Microbiology, i had a big problem with my partner and her doing her part... I did mostly everything, form the PowerPoint to the paper. and it took her a month to do 5 slides!!! its a mess... i wonder about the students at this school. But at the end we got everything done.
i get there, and find out shes not there... I started freaking out, because a lot of people did not show up... but my partner came, and we presented, and i think we did really well.
I just found out.. that i have not only organic exam next week, but the final rite after....!!! UGH!!! i wish teachers actually teach, a lot seem to be missing that memo, and because of that, students are failing...
Next, Thanksgiving!!
HAPPY LATE TURKEY DAY!!!!
I hope everyone had a safe and wonderful thanksgiving.
Mine wasn't to eventful, good news, was i didn't have to listen to my roommate's complaining all break!! it was like heaven!\I didn't get to have turkey or anything, and i really missed it, but my friend and I were able to go to the movies and see Wreck-it Ralph!! OMG!! It was a great movie, and being a even better friend.. I won't even tell you about it!! -giggles-
OH!!! and guess who saw the first two seasons of MLP:FIM!!?? -points- this dingo hybrid did!!! it was AMAZING!!!! Canterlot wedding was my fave!!! and the hooves and hearts day... -giggles- maybe cause big mac actually said more than a few words...but hopefully this weekend i can watch season 3 and catch up.
Roommate came back complaining, i couldn't even sing the songs in the canterlot episode... i wanted to cry... -sighs- but i got 2 more weeks til break...
I ended up getting a small respiratory infection and alil high blood pressure, got some antibiotics, and been taking it during the break.
It was also my grandfathers bday on the 25th!!! I found out that they almost got their house burned down, due to I think a leakage in the house, and wires,
But thank God, that nothing happened, and the fire department found it before anything happened.

Well with the help of my sis... i was able to find my hidden muse!!! -applause- I started a ref in it and would have it up.. sometime, eventually. I have been drawing some pics on and off... I know i have some art trades and contests and badges to do.. and do not worry they will get done!!!
But between school and work, and finals week coming up.. im going crazy. -tail sways-
I now have a new obsession with God of war 3, was watching my friend play the game.... i will need to post up the pics that i did for them of my fursona Kit and her mate, Aden...-flails-.. ok.. ill stop before i go all off in left field, because i seem to do that a lot.
Well, overall, I am doing well... I miss my friends in Texas, and I hope to be able to see some of you over Christmas!!
Also, I am thinking about doing commissions, i was seeing what did my watchers think about it...? Plz I would love to have some feedback on it..
-looks at time as ears fall and sighs..- now i need to get started on this paper due next week....
