I'm going to let the quest rest for a bit because of IRL things and wanting to take a chunk out of the backlog. The next update will be on Monday!

I have my medication now, so expect me to post things as I work to catch things up! Patreon art is the highest priority, then I'll move to other obligations~

I've been on brain pills that were really helping me Get Things Done, but due to Shenanigans I've had to go without them for a month.

I had a slight backlog, enough that I could meter them out and keep DR going, but the rest of the time my brain is mush and it's hard to do much of anything.

This will be fixed on the 17th when I finally get new pills.

So to everyone who's been patiently waiting on me for one reason or another, please hang in there! I intend to catch up on everything once my brain's back in working order!

Apparently someone got my 10k view kiriban!

Originally I was going to talk about my intent to never do these, because people hounded me so hard about 10k that it was honestly really frustrating, but I understand how hype it can be to win some kind of "prize", so I'll throw out this caveat.

If you get a 15/20/25/etc kiriban, I'll draw you something, but:
1: Won't be porn. Clean images only
2: I don't make any promises to quality. It might be a simple but passable sketch, or something stylized with color, depending on how I feel and how much the image strikes me. Experimentation is more likely here.
3: If I get hounded about these, I will go back to my original stance of "I'm not doing them". I will reserve the right to not draw something if it looks too difficult or otherwise a chore to draw, so I guess be sure to have a plan B.

I'm not converting Jiniki's quest into flash. Unlike Tezakia Quest, where you'd have to dig through my personal journal, Jiniki was run publicly. You can see it any time via quest.lv's archive!

I was talked into running a short single chapter quest involving Jiniki and Susan after the events of Tezakia Quest. It's currently running here: http://quest.lv/kusaba/quest/res/211320.html

Unlike TQ, which was run on a LJ semi-privately, this is being run on Quest.lv, a site all up ons for questing. It's a lot more public this time around. Let's see how it goes!

And with chapter 12 up, Tezakia Quest is officially done everywhere.

Unless people randomly want to see the semi-epilogue I did where people ask characters questions and they respond.

I intend to begin a new quest in a while staring adorable Lizards, but I'm not currently sure if I'd be converting them to flash. However, the new quest is going to be run a lot more publicly, so you'll have an easier time being a part of it if you desire as such.

I'll give more information on that when the time comes.

Expect the rest of the flash versions fairly quickly. I meant to get 11 done ages ago, but 12 took a whole lot of time (and I think you'll understand why when you see it).

But 12's done now so there's nothing keeping me from cranking these out!

As an extra promise, I'm not letting myself work on my next project till these are done. THIS IS ALL FOR YOU, FAN. I mean fans. Plural.

I managed to create part one of three for chapter 11, but I began the official run of 12 shortly after and the turnout was kind of amazing. But I spent the last couple weeks doing nothing but drawing for 12, so I haven't had much time to flash up the rest of 11.


But all the awesome cool parts of 12 are over and it's winding down and nearing its final conclusion. If nothing else, the rest of 11 and 12 will be flashed afterwords since I'll be out of anything else to do. So prepare for a huge cascade of flash versions!

This quest has taken up 7 months of my life, and it's nearly over. But that's cool. No big deal. Um. I'm going to go...do something. That's not shedding a manly tear.

Tezakia Quest is getting really close to its FINAL CHAPTER. However, chapter 11 is over 350 images in size, so making the FLASH VERSION will be a nightmare (I'd have to create a system to allow people to not have to read it all at once even).

At the same time, the overall participation in the LJ version of the quest is worryingly low. I'm not going to whine to you all about that, but it does lead me to the following question:

If I sat down and spent the 6+ hours it'd take to turn TQ10 and 11 into FLASH VERSIONS, would any of you be interested in taking part in the final chapter (12)? While it is hosted on LJ, anonymous comments are allowed so you wouldn't need to make an account or anything.

11's still going, so this MARATHON OF FLASHING would happen afterwords. Of course, I'd be tickled pink if anyone ended up reading the LJ version of 10 and 11 in order to join the party.

I used to get the FLASH VERSION of a chapter done shortly after completing its run on LJ, but as the chapters got longer and longer and required more and more work I've found myself having less free time that I wouldn't rather spend just recovering from drawing bigger and bigger updates. When you guys see how much love is going into chapter 11 right now, you'll see why I've not had much time to flash up 10.

I will admit that it'd probably be done by now if making the flash versions wasn't such a boring and tedious task. I wish I had enough fans that someone made these things for me!

I don't get why some folks feel a need to change accounts 500 times. It's like... is your name so bad that you have to delete and reupload EVERYTHING just to change it?

Christmas sure was fun. I only took like 2 days off from my quest. I might be addicted to the format.

Well. Chapter 3's shark jumping seems not to have been well received by anyone other than the person who gave all the commands in the first place.

But all I can really do is try and reconcile it in chapter 4. Anyway, I'm going to do something silly and officially advertise for anyone interested to get in on it.

On MONDAY (December 14) I will begin chapter 4 on my LJ account ( http://slinkoboy.livejournal.com/ ). I'm not entirely sure if I want to allow anonymous posting or not, but if you have an LJ account you can totally join in on the command giving and help me salvage my poor quest.

To recap the rules on there for you:
You can post a maximum of two commands, but I prefer the commands not take more than one image to convey (sometimes I will use more than one image, but I'd rather have the choice).
Please don't respond to the main post, but instead to the replies I make to myself with the images (It'll make more sense once you see it).

That's about it. I guess I'd also ask that the commands not be overly vulgar, since this isn't PORN QUEST THE JOURNEY FOR MORE PORN.
