Going to MFF for the first time, looking forward to it!

My mom is on vacation in florida, she doesn't work anyway, she asked me to look at a house after work yesterday, which took up my whole afternoon. I work late anyway on work days and what time after work is always filled with fixing dinner. If I do anything else I have to buy food for two people. So I explained that "you'll have to pay cash for this, and you'll have to make your decision today, the market is super hot right now, is your grandmother ok with this? is she ready to make a decision" "oh yes, everyones seen the house and loves it"

So I told them "I can't get off until 6, I can see it afterwards", first they make the appointment right at 6 for me. So I had to race down there with a car with very little gas in it a 30 min drive from me, then we walked through the house, and I called my mom, she didn't answer the phone, called my uncles phone, since I thought she might have left it in the condo, and my mom answers, they were "too busy" to even talk to me because they were looking for a place to go out to dinner after a hard day of vacationing, after waisting what little free time I have.

If I had pulled something like this with them, I would have never heard the end of it for the rest of their life, they would have always brought it up every time I asked for any type of help, which I very rarely do.

I'm in the "I'm ready to take my Kingdom to war" kinda mood right now.
