Alright so I feel inspired to do this now. Let's dive into the subject of Psychic Powers, in fiction, of course.


Let's use Pokemon's Psychic-Type as the primary example.


In fetish media, as i'll call it and where its so DAMN PREVALENT.

A psychic-pokemon is portrayed being able to do things such as... size-changing of itself or others. Telekinesis, Psychokinesis, etc.


Now some may say. "But that's universal psychic-stuff!"

Hold your horses.

Psychic Power is a contest between the mind and the matter being focused upon. The Mental Energy released is being directed at the matter to do something that is considered impossible with normal physics and all applied to it. Ala, shinking others for example.

Naturally, Matter resists this change. And Psychic Power is moreso just a competition between the Will and Mind of a being, and the matter it wishes to change. The matter loses when it can no longer hold out, while the Psychic loses if their focus is simply not enough to change it.

So, you may wonder, how does shrinking even work then?

What happens in that case, bear in mind this is based on my personal theory, is that the Will and Mind of a person charge itself into the matter of the being, being shrunk. The body resists this change as it is unnatural, however the body is frail, and be more easily morphed than say, the planet itself. Even the smallest pebble is more resistant to change than the body, in most cases. However, when its a psychic against another psychic. The Psychic on the defending end can dispute with their own power, interrupting the connection and forcing the two into a competition of Willpower. The winner being he/she who can successfully overpower the other's mind. After which, if the attacker wins, the body is forced to lose mass and shrink itself while retaining its shape. Thus defying physics as well.

Now let's talk about why a Dark-type persay is IMMUNE to Psychic-type attacks despite usually having a physical body. My theory is that a Dark-type does not have a natural resistance to Psychic power, but its body is conditioned to the darkness itself. Darkness is of course, a natural element that holds no physical shape or matter to it, instead being the absence of light. Thus, with no true body to focus upon, and by extension, no matter to attack with that mental energy. There is nothing a psychic can do.

Miracle Eye, however, in my own theory. Forces the Dark-types conditioned body to become exposed to the physical plane so much more that even the Psychic Presence of such a creature can be felt, thus rendering it vulnerable, but not weak, to such a strike.

What is a psychic presence? A Psychic Presence is a fancy word for describing someone's existence on the mental plane, where the battle of willpower and mind takes place. When the Dark-Type is exposed, its mind loses its dark shroud, and its physical body loses its own shroud. It's hard to explain really. But essentially, when the Dark-Type loses this mental shroud of darkness, and its body is forced to be reachable on the psychic plane, that is how it works.


Anywho, that's most of what i have to say on this. You can probably judge how the rest goes from here. Let me know if you agree or have your own theory in the comments.

So although i'm not CRAZY active on this site, i am here in spirit, just lingering about lookin for people to haunt and all. Typical kitsune nonsense.

I will be gone practically all of 8/5/2015 *in case i forget to make an update journal* cause i'm takin a trip to Minnesota to go see my lover. It should be great fun if all goes well.

Not submitting it, not like i can really draw anyways. It's mainly  Dan-The-Countdowner doing what i post here, cause he's a really gosh darn good friend.

But when I try to find a lovely kitsune pic, showing them in all their mysterious yet enchanting stances. I find nothing but fetishes, anthros, and other such perversions of the subject matter.

If anyone could link me some pictures of a nine-tailed kitsune like those from the actual mythology of the japanese, i'd be much appreciative.

Q: Why Shikiru Emberflame as her name?

A: Shikiru was my original Kitsune character, and I loved her dearly, so when I decided to make Emberflame my sona, I thought that an adjustment would be nice to make her better, so Shikiru came back to me after... a few years actually, and I molded them together, hence the name, Shikiru Emberflame. Shikiru as a name is something I made up.

Q: What's with your crazy mythology obsession lately?

A: Blame Shin Megami Tensei, specifically Nocturne, and the Digital Devil Saga series. All of their characters, demons more specifically, are based off mythology from all kinds of areas, although my interest peaked when I worked on Shikiru Emberflame, so I did more, hence the Inugami character I made.

Q: So what did you do to come up with Shikiru's Series anyway?

A: I reworked ALOT of old stuff I had lying around, Shikiru's home with all those kitsunes was based off a different dream I had, involving magic and humans and shit. I reworked the design for this. Other elements were stuff I thought would add to the story, such as what you'll see in part 4. Shikiru's life is not in any way easy, and the reason she is how she is today is because of her younger experiences in her world, and her desire to change to be the essence of peace.

Q: So do you HONESTLY think you'll stick with Shikiru?

A: Hell to the yes. (*Acting as if I don't remember the previous sona attempts, I remember, ohoho. I friggin remember...*)

Q: So what's with Shikiru's 'Self-Hatred' of vore anyway?

A: Other than not wanting to get her Kimono mussed up when prey, Shikiru's experiences in her own world lead to an internal hatred of vore, but she does love the bliss it can bring when playing either side, and she does enjoy the experience once she's done driving back her inner demons. It also adds a bit of character to her that many just don't care about, Shikiru is not a vacumn like Lucaria was, Shikiru is a being who indulges only when she chooses, or is forced to, although in the latter case, she is not an easy catch ;p (Not implying impossibility in the latter, but implying that if you try and force the issue, she will become violent over it, she may take to not being tempermental, but once provoked in that way, there can be OC death over it, on either side, if necessary, so don't friggin force it is what I'm saying.)

Q: You mentioned Lucaria...?

A: She won't be returning in this eternity, I assure you of that. I do admit I do see Shikiru as a 2.0 lucaria in a lot of senses, but she does have many improvements that lucaria does not, it shouldn' be hard to tell. (And yes, Shikiru by modern standards is flat-chested, so fug off.)

Q: Do you ever dream of Shikiru?

A: *Death Stare*

Q: So what will be in part 4 anyway?

A: Horrible horrible things. I am a cruel and evil person. Part 5 will be DEDICATED to calming down, its that bad.
