hallo fuzzies!

as per my last journal, i can't do wing-its weekly next month like normal, because of some other stuff i have going on that will mess with my schedule and my ability to do things in set times like that. so i did a poll, and the winning suggestion is to do egg adopts and YCHs instead! that way i can post them and work on them when i'm able.

to start the month, there will be no wing-its opening tomorrow! i'm sorry about the super short notice, but i had to make sure i figured out what i was doing. i have some things i really really need to work on and finish (including this week's wing-its), so i'm going to be spending the next few days/week doing that and making sure everything is in order because i'm tired of being behind. my clients and supporters don't deserve that and neither do i. it's very stressful.

during that time, i'm also going to be prepping some egg adopts and YCH sketches, which i'll be posting a couple at a time during the month. i'm not sure how many in total i'll end up doing, as it depends how things sell and how fast i can work. but they'll be open to Patreon and Kofi supporters first, as always. (if you're a Patreon or Kofi sub, i recommend connecting to the discord server, as that's where this stuff is held)

i'm going to review all my info for stuff and change how do some things, so make sure you read everything on the egg adopts/YCHs when they get posted, but i will say now:
- for egg adopts, i will not be doing closed species, original species, etc (also most insects/arachnids, as per my will/won't draw list). they'll be limited to existing animals (living and extinct) as well as mythical creatures, and hybrids of all these things. so you could get a winged, sabertooth fossa if you wanted, but not an avali, or a svirr, or whathaveyou.
- the reasons for this are so that i don't have to attempt to learn about a whole new fandom species i may have never heard of, including finding enough references to draw correctly, find out if i'm even allowed to make one like this, and then make sure the colors/design of the egg adopt fit the species rules, etc.
- it's a lot. so please just keep to real animals and mythical/legendary creatures

once december rolls around i should be back to wing-its like normal, so everyone can get their snowy holiday art in. November 28th should be a wing-it opening, if all goes as planned.
