I seriously never makes journals, as I barely consider myself an artist (at least yet lol)

But this is a very serious issue for very talented artists who make works that are truly being suppressed.

Recently, Mastercard and Visa introduced new policies, regulating their use as payment processors for NSFW/Adult content. Many websites are reacting by blanket-banning adult content and deleting their expansive collections, including major platforms such as Steam and Itch.io.

This is a serious problem. This harms sex workers and adult content creators everywhere, especially those who make a living from adult content, a legitimate artform.

This is also a fight against corporate entities censoring the media we consume, and deciding what we're allowed to read and create, enacting their control in our lives. This is a bad thing. Please sign this petition. And then share it around where you can, please. Whatever platform, whatever presence you may have. We need people talking about this desperately.

We can not and should not let corporate entities decide what media we are allowed to see and consume. We don't need to live in a corporate dystopia, something that may sound outlandish but is becoming alarmingly more real with companies acting as such.
