I remember when I was a kid, it was late one night, and I was sitting at the edge of my pond. My family had this little pond only 15 yards from our home and I always liked to sit there and draw. Our home had caught fire, and it was ablaze, lighting up the night. I just sat there, and cried, and watched our home burn to the ground in the reflections of the water. It was the last time I sat at my pond. I remember it every day.

I'm still alive, I know, it's been almost a year since I've done art. Maybe 9 months, 10 months? I don't know.
Between AI, the current political climate, just, generally everything, I've really shifted my focus on different skills to help me and my friends survive the future that is coming.
Not really much else to say, just wanted to let you all know I'm still alive, and I too hope that you all are. This isn't how I thought it'd be back in the 80s and 90s.
I thought education and hope was our future. In the early 90s I thought the internet would unite all the brilliant minds of the world.
But it also united the dumb ones.
Take care my friends, maybe sometime in the future we'll have art and fun and just... jest again.
