Hi everyone! I don’t post here very often, as I prefer other platforms for socializing. But while uploading my latest artwork, I decided to take a look at my post stats…

I’ve noticed an interesting trend: over the past three years (almost four!), I’ve been getting an average of 100 to 200 likes. Sometimes it’s less, sometimes more. It’s not that I’m upset about it, but I’m curious—how does profile promotion actually work here?
I remember trying to figure out my own formula for success by drawing various fetishes (my main fat fetish doesn’t count), as well as drawing some fan art of popular characters, but I never managed to see any changes in the stats—it didn’t budge an inch.


Artists who’ve had a “breakout moment” and seen rapid growth in likes/followers, please share your thoughts on this (unless it’s a secret, lol xD)

If any younger artists are reading this, I’d personally advise you not to worry too much about popularity and attention. Of course, it’s important for us to be in the spotlight and for as many people as possible to see our wonderful art, but the most important thing is not to let it take a toll on your mental and emotional well-being. Just take it easy! 'w'
