My uncle whom I've known my whole life, the brother to my dad, has passed on. Over a week ago he's passed on back in January 27th. Apparently, he died from his long battle of liver disease. To be honest, here's what needs to be understood. My uncle, long time ago when he was probably in his twenties or his thirties. He had relations with someone who had a form of Hepatitis or some kind of liver disease, and it was something that got transmitted to my uncle.

Now before anyone casts blame on him. To keep in mind, the person he had the encounter with didn't tell him he had what he had, so my uncle only found out when he got into a car accident and at the hospital, he learned from the doctor that he had a form of Hepatitis and he learned it was transmitted to him by the person he had relations with. What became of the person he had the encounter with. I never knew nor do I remember being told. This was back in ether the late 1980s or during the 1990s at the time this happened. But in the car accident he was in. Someone crashed into him and my uncle survived that but he did have some broken bones, his teeth were as one would say not looking good so they did something that allowed my uncle to have dentures.

I know what you're thinking. At the time, what kind of a thirty-something man would have dentures when you expect someone whose grown old as Mr. Wilson from Dennis The Menace to be having dentures? One would think that someone so young having to have dentures would be a funny story to tell but this one wasn't from a funny story. But during the years that passed. My uncle would make us laugh by making it look like he did some kind of trick with his dentures by making it look like he used his mouth to push out the top dentures and pull them back in. He once did that trick and they fell out and rolled onto the floor, underneath the couch which of course anyone would be annoyed of that happening to them but it was a funny memory ( not to worry, he got them back and cleaned them )

But the car accident from all them decades ago left him with what I can remember him saying not all portions of his liver with him to which he had to take medications for his liver disease and for the fact that he survived and didn't completely have all portions of his liver with him. So for years, he's been taking medications for this, he wasn't supposed to have alcohol which he turned out to be okay with because he wasn't a drinker. He did smoke or I don't know if he one day quit smoking as I didn't live with him to know that. There was plenty of things we related on in terms of life, people, entertainment, what we liked and disliked, that all sunshine. But last time I saw him or talked to him was when him and his partner were giving me a ride to a doctor's appointment and we talked about random things.

My dad and his side of the family while I may not get along with and while I know that my dad and his side of the family are people I don't want to associate with because of how dysfunctional and mental they are. My mom is going to find out when there will be the funeral or something like that. My uncle was pushing 64 years old when he passed on since his birthday was early April. When it comes to family or parents. No parent should ever have to live to see the day they outlive their children, no matter the age of the parent or child, be it if the child is still a kid or is an adult themselves. Regardless if the parents have one child or even more than one child. Even if I'm not a fan of my dad and his side of the family at this given time. Still, all being said applies to every family or parent.

Finding out that my uncle is now deceased. My grandparents who are my dad's parents, they already lost one of their children, the first was their youngest, an uncle of mine who passed on from a drug overdose due to the fact some evil devil supplied him with it for reasons to sell it off him. And he got addicted which led the family to try and help him kick the habit as I was told. He may not have liked the therapy and counseling but at the time. We tried. But now my dad's parents lost a second child but this time it was due to a long battle against a form of liver disease. Not only will he be missed but at the same time he was an animal lover and he always had a dog and yes, he was a dog person, I'm sure we got plenty of dog people out there as much as we do cat people.

So for the time being. We're mourning a loss of a beloved family member.
