What twisted person steal christmas presents? (G)
Like the title says mine and my sister's christmas presents were stolen today.
We came home to find they had been delivered to a different house (despite the fact we specified a safe location with our trusted neighbour of 15 years). The place it was delivered to was a technology repair shop that had only been there a few months, not even a year. Honestly, we don't really trust them (and you'll see why as you read on) , and we did not feel they were a safe option for the parcel to be delivered to.
So guess what the postman does? He delivers it there, despite the note telling him the EXACT house to deliver it to. I do wonder what goes through these people's minds.
Also, when we confronted the people at the shop, they said they had given the items to a man who came in asking for two parcels, he didn't even possess the slip which said where to get them. They didn't check ID or anything, so now two £750 laptops are in the hands of some random stranger, who's been following delivery vans or something? Idk. I just don't want anyone else to be in the same situation you know? These packages may well be Christmas presents.
In our case they were worth a month of my Fathers wages, which is really sad. Due to the amount of money lost, we are going to try and get the company to send replacement laptops, or refund us the full amount, and if not take the issue to court to be resolved.
Yeah, I know, it's intense. Hopefully it won't go that far.
