World Building
So, in theory, 2023 will be the year I finally motivate myself to do world building for my own setting. Whether it will be for personal TTRPG campaigns or just a shared setting for future short stories, I've yet to commit. Hopefully both... but there's a good chance I'll just procrastinate more lol.
But regardless, I finally want to have some concrete foundations and backstory for my myriad of characters. I've always felt bad that a lot of them exist in a semi limbo state. So hopefully in this coming year, they'll exist in short stories, or referenced in world lore.
With 2 months already into the year, have I actually made any progress? Surprisingly yes. A whole handful of descriptions for major intelligent species that inhabit, and somewhat vague notes of world geography. Speaking of which, admittedly I'm a little behind on my Dungeon23, which is what I'm doing for my creation of world geography and locales, opposed to actual dungeon rooms/levels.
So here's hoping I can stay motivated.
