I Figure I write a short version of the story of James and Sadie, from their first meeting, marriage, to children and beyond

The 1940s
James and Sadie met while James was accidentally time travel to the 1940s (September of 1941 to be exact) and in the first few minutes of arriving he stumbles across a cafe where Sadie is reading a comic, and it was love at first site. (an Artistic version of this is here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/22874119/) James reads a newspaper to find out where he is but after reading it, she was gone. James went on to get himself settle in 1941 as he is stuck there for 8 months. James goes to that cafe everyday until he sees Sadie again and because of his shyness he couldn't talk to her but she instead comes to him. They introduce and Sadie convinces James to ask her out. They start dating, Sadie gets James a job at the office she works at (Where she a secretary) They fall in love and 2 weeks after they first meet James move into Sadie apartment. Soon after Sadie discover odd things like a strange device in James room or a book that has events from past 1941 in there. James reveals that he is from the future and Sadie is so interested and ask Jame so much more questions. That when the relationship really hits off. James gets used to the 1940s and the couple grows closer everyday. James tells Sadie about the future but slowly James is forgetting the future as time taking effect on him. Then on December 7th, 1941 James learns about Pearl Harbor from the radio and loses it, hating how he can forget about that event, how he could of change it and prevented those lives from being lost. Sadie comforts him and James understand history happens for a reason. Christmas time comes and they spend it together a tradition 1940s Christmas. The next few months James and Sadie just spend as much time as they can together, James told Sadie about him leaving and plans to take her with him until he discovers the portal will only open in a certain place... Berlin. He won't risk Sadie due to her being half Jewish so a day before he plans to leave (he sneaks onto a military plane to get as close as possible to Berlin) He treats Sadie to the perfect night. Renting out a movie theatre, hiring an up and coming Frank Sinatra to sing and a band to play their song "Moonlight Serenade". James then takes them both home, wait til Sadie goes asleep. writes a letter and he leaves, crying because he will never see Sadie again. A week later James is on a military base in France and sees an old work buddy who enlists, the buddy tells about a USO show that is coming to the base today, James goes but still depressed about leaving Sadie. Then he notices that.... one of the girls was Sadie. Sadie learned what James was up to and one of her girlfriends was able to get Sadie on a plane with a USO tour to France to the base James is going to. After the show James goes backstage, Sadie happy to see James but angry slaps him and then kisses him. James tells her to go home but she won't, she going with James no matter how dangerous it is. James then tells the General about the fake spy plan to Berlin and James and Sadie gear up and go to Berlin. They arrived at Berlin a day before the portal apposes to show up but a few hours later are caught by German officers and taken to the Furer himself, Hilter. Hilter thinks they are US spies and going to send them both to a Camp, James managed to get them out and take a German officer uniform for him and Sadie to escape the place they were being held, grabs a motorcycle and race to the center of town as that where the portal will open and they got only 5 minutes to get there. German soldiers follow after learning of there escape but they are able to make it to the portal, drive-thru and crash on the other side in the lab back in the present.

Present Day
James and Sadie arrived in the present, Sadie gets hurt but is taken to a hospital where she recovers. James is officially the first time traveler and Sadie is the second one. They both go on a World tour for their achievements, James finishes college with a Master in History and become a professor at a great college. Sadie still trying to figure out what to do with her life just lives a great few years with James and catches up on the last 70 years of history she missed. 3-4 Years later James has been teaching for 3 years, but both are growing bored. They fought Nazi for heaven's sake and want adventure again. They decide to go back to the lab and steal the time travel device Al (James best friend and discovery of time travel) just made.

Random Time Periods
James and Sadie use it but it messes up making them go randomly from one time period to another, Spending either day or months at a certain time period until they find the portal to the next one. They spend the next 2 years traveling to random periods including Roman times, Medevil period, Old West, Civil War Era, 1920s, 1950s, 1980s, 2002, 1999, 1972, 1969, 1887, 1812, 1602, 1492, 902, Ancient Egypt, 1940s (Twice) In their last remanding jumps they got to engage in the 1980s, married in the 1920s and had their honeymoon 1800s Paris during the world fair, arrived in 1969 and went to Woodstock where Sadie conceived and got pregnant. and finally, their last jump before the machine got broken landed them in December of 1776.

1770s
James and Sadie got stuck in their last decade and arrived right outside Philly. They got Settled and James started work with a printer and Sadie learn to sew and made clothes to sell. Sadie became pregnant by the day and James worried that if they cant get a better time period Sadie could die in childbirth. James spends day and night trying to fix the device to go home but it won't. All the sudden Al appears thru a portal and asks James for the device to take them both back home. James said it broke and now Al is stuck in 1777 with them but Al smarter than James might be able to fix it in time before Sadie is due to give birth. Al comes thru and fixes the device but all the sudden he disappears like he was written out of existence. Sadie though gives birth in the 1770s but thankfully make it thru and gives birth to a baby girl that James and Sadie name (IDK yet). They open the portal again and finally can choose what time to go to, they choose the present day.

Alternative present
James, Sadie and the newborn arrived in a present day, James tells Sadie to go to the hospital and get herself and the baby check to make sure they are okay and he will go back to the house to prepare it for the newborn. They kiss and depart ways. James starts to notice different like how the stop sign is now purple, or how the street name change. James starts to put pieces together but finally realize something different when he steps on a newspaper and it tells of a different president then the one he knows would be present now. James and Sadie on their adventures thru time must of mess with history and things change creating a different present than the one they arrived at. James arrived home to hear the television playing... James carrying a gun he had gotten in the old west goes into the house and sneaks into the living room ready to tell this intruder to get out. James is shocked to discover that its... Him a different version of him. the James from this time period has scars on his neck and ear, a cut around his eye and is missing his left arm. James asked what happen but the other James freaks out and grabs an old WWII era pistol and points it at James confuse on who he is. James explains to his alt self who he is and about Sadie. Alt James starts to cry, and tells the story of how he lost his version of Sadie when he travels thru time, Everything was the same up until when James and Sadie depart for Berlin, the timeline change as James and Sadie end up in the middle of a battle, Sadie was killed in action and James got his arm blown off. James returns to the present and destroys the time machine. Upset Alt James points his gun back at James saying how he messed up everything, he created this timeline and because of him, Alt Sadie is dead. Alt James tells him if he wasn't a freaking idiot and just stayed in the present with Sadie instead of traveling thru time none of this would of happen. Alt James starts to fire his gun at James trying to kill him but then Sadie and the newborn walk thru the door and Alt James bullet kill the newborn. James and Sadie and so sad, Alt James can't believe what he has done. Then everything freezes except for James. Then a ghostly figure arrived thru a portal, the creature said he is time itself and is really angry at James, he messed up the timeline and it all started the moment him and Sadie saw eachother. Time has given James a choice either watch as time get destory of scarfice his time with Sadie and have Time reset to the moments before James time travels for the first time. James ask if he could talk to Sadie for one last time. He unfreeze Sadie and James explains what happening. She starts to cry but James tells her that he will find her again no matter what it takes and kisses her. Time then resets to the moments before James walks thru the time machine and James tells Al to shut it down. Al listens and later tells James the project has be scrap. James is bummed out as he will never get to see Sadie again but then a girl who looks just like Sadie walks by reading a comic book. James is shock but it actually her, just in present day. Time must of put her in present day instead of the 40s and the story ends with James walking up to the present day verison of Sadie to introduce himself.
