Well, I'm a bit late (It's already late Jan 02 as I write this), but I lived through another year. 2023 hasn't been as productive in terms of art this year, as I've still been busy with RL work and other stuff, and I've been continuing this Let's Read stuff over on rpg.net (I've been back there for a while now).

I've not quite written many fics myself, but I've co-written stuff with my friend Skye, so that's a good start. I should really try writing at least a short story of my own, though.

As for the rest of my plans for let's year, let's examine:
-studying and practicing anatomy and muscle art.
Definitely been doing some of that, improving my anatomy work on muscles. I can still improve on that.

-studying and practicing NSFW anatomy (dicks and pussies)
Been doing a bit of that. I need to practice more close-ups of sexual organs.

-Got some of those "how to draw fantasy maps" books, I wanna try my hand at that.
Got two of those books this year, actually. I've yet to really commit to drawing a map. I keep thinking they look weird and give up.

-practicing backgrounds.
I have not done this. Need to try again.

-Leaning how to use Blender.
Started some tutorials, then stopped entirely. There's been an update and there's some updated tutorials, so I'll try again in 2024.

As for new projects, I want to try my hand at some Worldbuilding. Not sure if I want to make pure fantasy, urban fantasy (in an imagined world) or a science-fantasy project, but I know I wanna create a world that's mine.

This is not a resolution. New Years' Resolutions suck. Instead, I go with an idea from Youtuber CGP Grey: a Theme for the Year. A general direction to navigate your life for the year, rather than a strict path of fixed goals.

So this year shall be a year of Worldbuilding for me. Wish me luck on this path.
