StroyBackGroundPart1 - SharOink (G)
In a world where the seas and the lands had lived in harmony for centuries, the pigs had ruled with peace and prosperity. The creatures of the land had always known their place beneath the pigs’ wise leadership. But the ocean—once a domain of tranquility—had begun to churn with dark, uncontrollable forces.
A sickness had overtaken the waters, a corruption beyond understanding, twisting the creatures who dwelled within. The once-predatory sharks, rulers of the deep, were now evolving. Mutating. No longer bound by the sea, these sharks had grown capable of surviving on land, though they could never fully explain how. Their once-pure hearts had darkened, and their numbers swelled with ruthless ambition.
Among them was a curious, daring warrior—a shark named Saki. Unlike the others, who saw this new world as a realm to conquer, Saki was fascinated by it. He felt the pull of the land, the allure of something different. One evening, when the tides were high and the stars reflected a haunting glow, Saki decided to venture beyond the shore. He emerged from the water for the first time in his life, breathing the strange air of the land and feeling the damp earth beneath his claws.
And there, in the heart of the kingdom, he met her.
Princess Lu, heir to the vast lands of the pigs, was as gentle as she was regal. Her kingdom had thrived under the protection of the pig council for as long as anyone could remember. Life here had been peaceful—until now. Though she had heard rumors of strange creatures in the sea, she never imagined one would dare approach the kingdom. Her life, untouched by the chaos of the waters, was about to change.
Princess Lu wandered the castle grounds, lost in thought about a recent troubling dream, when the air around her seemed to shift. A low rumble, followed by a strange echo, drew her attention to the water’s edge. She stepped closer, heart racing, unsure of what she might find.
And then, through the mist, he appeared.
A giant of a creature, his body covered in scales that shimmered with an eerie glow. His eyes, a piercing blue that seemed to hold the mysteries of the ocean, locked onto hers. For a long, heartbeat-long moment, neither moved. Neither spoke. The world seemed to hold its breath.
Saki stood there, towering over the petite princess. His muscles rippled beneath his skin, his every movement poised like the calm before a storm. But something in his gaze was different—he wasn’t here to attack. He wasn’t here to invade. There was curiosity. Caution. And something else, something deeper, that neither of them could yet understand.
The princess, her heart pounding in her chest, tried to keep her composure. Her thoughts raced. Was this the beginning of an invasion? Or had the rumors been true all along? She was the ruler’s daughter, after all—she couldn’t show fear. Yet, when the creature took a step toward her, she froze.
His touch was cold, slick, like a wave that crashed upon the shore. He gently seized her arm, his grip firm but not forceful. The princess gasped, her breath caught in her throat, as her mind struggled to process what she was feeling. The texture of his skin—smooth yet rough, soft yet unyielding—was unlike anything she had ever encountered. Fish were commonplace in her kingdom, but this... this was unlike any creature she had ever known.
But then she caught something in his gaze. A strange tenderness. A spark of something she couldn’t name.
He was studying her, and she couldn’t look away.
After what seemed like an eternity, she gathered the strength to speak, her voice soft but steady, “H-Hello, strange creature of the sea. I... I am Princess Lu. Welcome to the kingdom.”
Saki’s lips curled into a slow smile, the tension easing between them, though a powerful wariness remained in his stance. “I am Saki,” he said, his deep voice rumbling like distant thunder. “I’ve wandered from the deep to the land, as we, the creatures of the sea, have evolved. I... I have been changed by the waters.” His words were careful, measured, as though weighing each one. “I came to seek answers. I am no invader, Princess. I seek... knowledge.”
The princess blinked, her heart still racing but now with a curious spark in her chest. She looked up at him, towering over her, and saw not just the terrifying warrior of the sea, but something more. A being torn between worlds—between the violence of his nature and the unfamiliar realm he had discovered.
“And... what do you seek here, Saki?” she asked, her voice now a little stronger, though still trembling.
He hesitated, his gaze flickering over her in a way that made her skin tingle. “I seek to understand. To learn why the waters have changed, why we—my kind—are evolving this way. Something is wrong with the oceans... and I feel the pull of it here, in your kingdom.” He stepped a fraction closer, his voice growing more intense. “You... you are the ruler of this land. You must know of the ancient powers that lay beyond your borders, the forgotten forces of nature.”
Princess Lu felt a shiver run down her spine. Her kingdom had long been protected by its peace, hidden away from the dark forces of the outside world. The pigs had kept the balance for generations, but now... now there was this unknown creature, and his words were unsettling.
Before she could respond, a distant sound—something familiar, something menacing—interrupted them. The ground trembled, faint but undeniable. The air thickened with tension. And in the distance, dark figures appeared from the edges of the kingdom.
Saki’s eyes narrowed, his body going rigid. "We are not alone," he muttered. "There are others who will not accept this peace."
Princess Lu’s stomach tightened. She had no idea who these new threats were, but it was clear that the arrival of the sharks heralded a much darker future for her kingdom than she could ever have imagined.
“Will you help me?” Saki asked, his voice low, almost a whisper now. “The kingdom... needs to be prepared.”
The princess stood tall, her heart pounding with uncertainty, yet a flicker of resolve burning in her chest. She was the heir to the land, and no matter what strange forces were invading, she would protect her people.
But what was Saki truly after? Could she trust this mysterious warrior who had stepped into her world uninvited? And more importantly—what would she do when the inevitable war came?
