To tell you something about myself, I am a gryphon from Germany, living pretty much in the top middle of germany in lower saxony.

Some changes - From Nachtschwinge (G)

Hello everyone!

Why am I starting this Journal including my name?
It's simple. I am about to change it and to avoid too much confusion I decided to add that information in the head as I am not sure if the 'profile name' or the 'display name' will be there.

But what is going on?
That is a bit of a longer story. Some of you might have seen, that I have uploaded a Reference sheet for a new Character lately, Onyx (https://www.furaffinity.net/view/63685022/(SFW)).
For the first time ever since I started my 'life' here as Nachtschwinge I felt more connected to another character than her and ever since I have been around as Onyx with friends and others since he was created. We will get back to that in a bit.
Throughout the past years there have been moments here and there, where I thought, maybe I want to be something different because even as my connection to Nachtschwinge as well as the male version Nachtflügel still is there, it has been flickering and felt like it has become more distant. But at the same time I had always thought 'But, what else could I be'? So things did not change except that Nachtschwinge as it had been seen before got a twinbrother.
A bit down the line, when Onyx was 'born' I felt that deep connection again. And not only that, from the moment I started to be around as him I was regaining joy and confidence. I was starting to become happier without that it felt like much changed but truth is, A LOT has changed. In me, about me, who I am over who I used to be.

But what does that mean now?
I am not the kind of creature that gives up on their past or on what I consider myself "A Part of me". That means that Nachtschwinge and Nachtflügel of course still will be there, there will still be art of them and I will be around as them when the mood hits. But at the same time, I will be around as Onyx in the first place and slowly and over time my name will be changing to that in different places. As well as here on Furaffinity.
Besides, I will still also perk up to being called 'Nacht, Nachtschwinge and Nachty' as all is still a part of who I am in the end. So do not worry if you adress me with those as well.

Will this change be permanent?
I don't know. It will happen now. Maybe it will be forever, maybe I will be back completely to Nachtschwinge/Nachtflügel in few months. We will see, but I will take that step now and I hope you understand.

I could write a lot more, but I hope that clears things up a little. If you have questions, feel free to ask me about it. Some I might decide to not publically answer but we will see.
