I'm not one to do journals and do a lot of writing but I guess I'll post a thing.

I do hope everyone enjoyed the Halloween holiday. The spooks, costumes and treats.
Not only is it Halloween but it was also my birthday. 28 years. My goodness. Almost 30.

I've been in the community for... my goodness... 9 years. Next year will be 10. Despite not posting much of anything, I'm surprised to have accumulated 235 followers. For that, thank you all for giving this drake some of your attention. It is appreciated.

Some of you I've already spoken to for a while now. It's been great meeting a lot of you. I've enjoyed your company. Thank you for your time and hopefully more hours to come.
Some I have lost touch with and others that I've yet to have the pleasure with speaking with. I hope you're all doing well no matter where you guys may be and if you're in a tough position, I do hope that it improves. I know it can be tough out there.

Guess I could share a little bit about myself. Don't think I've done that. Some of you already know me, but I'll share anyways and what I've been up to.

I like to tinker around with a couple of things from time to time. Coding, 3D modeling, game development, music, and 2D art, although nearly none of that. Well, I do mess around with some art, making silly edits. Perhaps adding glowing eyes, changing the background, duplicating characters, stretching necks.
90% of the time, you'll see me playing a game. Most recently it has been Helldivers 2, ARK Ascended, VRC, and Monster Hunter Wilds.
Coding wise, I've experimented with C++, C#, PHP, JavaScript but nothing serious other than trying to make a website.

I've had my ups and downs. Finished high school, went through some college which I never finished. I was originally going to go for the Sec+ cert and later learned that I didn't have to go to college to do that. Granted I could have stuck around for computer science. Dumb of me to leave that behind. By this point, I had worked 2 jobs. One was at a warehouse and another at a farm. They were alright.
After I had left college, I worked at a rest stop for nearly 2 years. During this time, I did some 3D modeling, a little bit of coding, tried making a website with my own email which ended up failing due to a corruption when I had a power outage and lack of backups. I never picked it up again because I lacked the knowledge to tighten security. That and it was on my own home network, so I felt that was quite a risk as well. After the rest stop, I worked at another place as a warehouseman, organizing inventory. I moved to a new house with my parents and brothers, another family member moved in with us. Grandmother died a little bit after we got the house. She was supposed to move in with us. Then the job. That didn't last long. TL;DR, I was fired for taking a 15 minute break eating goldfish and sitting around doing nothing despite being told to sit and wait when I was told they didn't have anything for me to do. I lacked a job for a year which sucked. Had to be quite picky with what I purchased and a lot of my payments such as car insurance, car loan, taxes, food, went through my credit card trying to take some of the load off of my bank account.

Then come to this year. I got a new job as an assembler, then rolled over from temp agency to the actual company as an electrical apprentice. I get a raise every 1K hours and was told a yearly raise as well after evaluations. I got my evaluation recently and should be seeing the raise sometime 2026. I also went to Anthrocon in Pittsburgh. I remember seeing a few of you there. It was nice to meet some of you guys there. It was a fun event. And spent a lot of money there too. >.> Too much, but I can cover it with time. OH! I also got a new PC upgrade. A new PC entirely. Going from a prebuilt Dell PC that had:

Future plans?
Well, I think I may continue in the direction of electrical. No reason for me to leave. It pays well and I don't mind learning and working with electricity.
I hope to pick up 3D modeling again. Actually, produce something and make use of this powerful hardware.
Pickup on Sec+, CCNA and other certs. I still would LOVE to work in the IT field. Wanna help me learn and get into the field after I'm done with my electrical courses, hit me up. Heck, or just overall tech stuff is fine. I do like to hear the in's and out's of servers, files, AI, a lot of good stuff out there.
I would like to move out into my own place, but I think that'll wait until I've had a few raises with decent income.
Maybe changes to my dragon to come? No idea yet what I'm going to do. some ideas in mind to add to him, some ideas to make a change. Maybe make a female version. Just playing with a couple of ideas.
Art. I still want to get more art, but I don't think that will be happening until I've paid off the loan for the PC, the car and student loans. Those are the biggest ones I've got going on right now.
As for VR, I'm eyeing the BigScreen Beyond, but I'm waiting to see what Steam's VR is going to be like. I hear it's going to be a standalone which isn't my interest, but I guess we'll see what happens with that.

Go through the super large list of 86807 submissions that missed. Some of you might see a large fave bomb some day. No idea when I plan to do that.
