Next album will be the last one! (G)
For free, that is. ;)
I'm going commercial! Sort of, in my own little way.
But first I need a budget before I can launch the project. Might take up to a year before I'm set up to actually start selling the damn albums, but I'm gonna work my way there no matter how long it takes. I'm finally confident that my current skills will be able to sell an album or two, since many of my friends have taken a liking to what I produce. I want money to invest into new equipment, licenses, software etc. so going commercial feels like the only way for my music to grow.
However, there's a ton to learn first since I'm doing it the indie way. There's taxes to be paid, learn how to write proper credits, make notes about every sample I use etc. But with a positive attitude I'll probably have fun doing it! =)
Sidenote: Everything free will still be free, I still support spreading music for free, so I'll also release albums for free from time to time and I'll still be using the CC-license that allows users to keep spreading the music for free. I believe in my fans, however few they may be.
