Major Kusanagi gets a little too familiar with the workings of a special black-ops Shell.
Got a little too inspired by General-Irrelevant's piece here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/27300339/

Oh, this is neat. I remember you working on it but never saw enough to know what it was about. Finally I see what all the upside-down hanging breast shape conversation was about. I expected a bit more sag actually, but wow is it hard to find a RL reference. Form looks great, dialogue is excellent, as always.
I don't really _like_ the Major, but as a Yinglet she's pretty cool. Lovely eyes too.

I LOVE this I am cracking up right now I read it aloud it's so damn funny. I love ghost in the shell and your yinglets. This I imagine with Azrael uploading to a yinglet body, though I know in ghost in the shell it's putting the brain another body but still. This is the kind of stuff I picture and would love as a show.
Major, your next important mission is to load into this weird body for... cause... infiltration! Yeah, no one will suspect that.
Wait, I just realized, we all have cyber brains, literally anyone in section 9 could do this... GUYS, TEAM MISSION! TEAM INFILTRATION! PUT DOWN THE HEADSETS WE'RE ALL FUCKING GOING!

Sorry, that came off a bit more acidic than I'd intended. I was trying to be funny, but I suppose I was/am too busy nerd raging.
I'm open to weird, I promise. Identity loss: always interesting, even when people do it crappy. Major trying out a distinctly non-humanoid shell, also interesting.
But here's the rub: Major undergoing identity loss while trying out a non-humanoid shell. A wizard class cyberwarefare specialist, piloting full prosthetic bodies since she was 6 and, depending on which continuity you're following, can maintain the integrity of her consciousness in the sea of the Net gets reduced to what you see in panels 4 and 5 because apparently she can't handle this particular brand of bloatware. I'm sorry, it's just gonna take a lot to sell me on that one. Like you said, she's supposed to be competent.

I've always liked this picture because I'm a big fan of the idea of taking two different ideas and making something wild out of them, like My Little Pony and Star Trek, so seeing yinglets in the world of Ghost in the Shell is just an amazing idea, but i wonder, have you done any other fusion experiments with yinglets? I ask because i had a thought of a fusion that would be wild (at least to me), but don't have the funds for patrion or a commission, but wanted to get it out there while its in my head, Murder Drones as robot yinglets, and the reason i'm commenting on this image and not something newer is because i didn't want to throw a random idea onto a new page that has nothing to do with the page, plus, you probably got plenty of 'entitled fans' begging for free art and i don't want to come off sounding like one, if any thing comes of the idea, great, if not, no harm, life goes on, just wanted to finally take the chance of throwing out an idea even if it goes unseen.
