Flight Rising Portraits (2h): Mercenary (... again!)
You may also notice a funny pattern of alphabetical repetition while I'm loading these to the gallery-- an unintended side effect of dumping pieces back onto the workhorse after my hard drive wipe. Because everything was "created" at the same time, chronological finishing points got all scrambled, so, ahaha, here we are with another (earlier I think?) piece for Merc! I feel like this might've been the first thing I painted for them on Flight Rising. Still really pleased with how the buttery oil paint strokes came out to complement such a fluffy wildclaw. Monochromatic color schemes are always a plus, too.
