Outstanding portraya of Lamellar armour and the padded Gambeson under it. He's definately properly equipped. Art like this belongs on a fantasy book cover, or a D&D module. XD. Well done.

what did you use for reference- a picture or did you have some resource you could pose in a 3d medium?

I used no reference for the pose or angle, but once I had the idea down I just collected a whole bunch of information on lamellar armor wherever I could find it, as wel as refs for leopards, cornrows, textures of materials etc.

I'm sure there is but I don't know what haha - I was provided with a screenshot of a character with these facial markings from the Mummy (2017). I haven't seen the film myself however, so I don't know their significance.

Ah the reference was the face tattoo for the character Ahmanet. And its a reference to gain control of the dead cause the ratio itself was referencing to a part from the egyptian "book of the dead".
