I DID have those toys. I guess Lite brite just didn't appeal to me for whatever reason.

I got my first one in 1979, or was it 1980, for Christmas. I remember never liking the black paper and just put the pegs in to make something.

I owned a lite-brite from 1993 to 2006 or so. Got it as an Xmas present and used it for many years. It wasn't a flat panel thing like the ones made today, it was the big white plastic box shaped thing, almost resembling a TV. Heck, I used to pretend it was a TV before I got one.
