Yeah - all prior cats and dogs did too (they have all since passed on). This year we got a new rescue cat, and she doesn't care. She's interested in the process - like sits 2 feet away from the powerhead watching it clean stuff up like "neeeaaat". O_O

I've seen cats utilize them when they realize the dog hates them; so they decide "waaaaait.. I can use that" - and ride them around, further terrifying the dog.

Well, Dynamite. There are other tools you can use to clean other than a vacuum. It might take longer, but it's less stress educing.

Good God a weird thought just came across my mind furries and vacuums. The amount of hair that they have to go through every day when they pick up from shedding must be nightmarish.

I had between 3-4 cats over a period of 20 years and I don't think anyone cleaned the (carpeted) stairs in that time.

It was pretty nightmarish.
