I admire his gentlemanly behavior. He even introduces himself to talking plants on the moon with the same civilized manner how he introduces himself to everyone (the moon journey is actually from the movie from the 1940s, he does go to the Moon in the stories as well, but to get his silver axe back which he threw there).
I watched all of it a few times. The dwarves had a divine map of all the holes in the universe - something made in 7 days tends to have flaws. They were on the run from their boss and were trying to avoid the personification of evil while trying to be greedy dwarves. Loved the bit with Sean Connery as King Agamemnon.
