I decided I'd colour this one as I really liked how the sketch came out and thought that I'd look great coloured.
I've had this idea in my head for a little bit of time now. I'm glad to get it down. See though, Erika likes to do normal things to! Flying a kite's normal for a child of her age right?
Also feel free to believe the kite's sailing on solar winds, either flying on the solar winds from the star, or she's actually put it into orbit.

I really liked the coloring on this one, but a friend pointed out that the night sky looks more like a bunch of clusters than an homogeneous sea of stars (which is what you made), example:

Also he said up there surely there's not much air to be flying a comet.
I say none of that matters when you accept the existence of an animal so big XP BUT!, I agree that the firmament would look prettier clustered.
All that said, I still liked the coloring <3 and I liked the sea slowly washing into the footprints, as well as the lava leaking like red sauce, x3 awesome detail.
See you!

Heh thanks a lot for the critique. In terms of star placement and things you're probably right, the background was made really quickly. I just like to make it look interesting. As for the air problem. That's why I called the picture what I did. But You can also imagine it's in orbit now too. Whichever you prefer.
Glad you like it though. I enjoyed drawing it.
