Their storage capacity had increased drastically and thus a Kodrop can carry more than just water inside their storage stomach, but also objects/items and even living creatures. By their loyalty to their alpha/trainer, if they are equal or smaller to the Kodrop, the Kodrop will have a habit of storing them inside their storage stomach for long periods of time as a means of protecting them.
