I fucking hate Christina Aguilera, but I like this song, and I think it fits my wonderful little Deyna (tibbywolf) well. Such an adorable little scrapper. Just look at her! Looks like she's winding up her give-a-damn. Awww, and she's being so polite and inviting someone to have a face to face meeting with her welcoming stick. Deyna plays well with others.
Pfffft, so Deyna and I both like the occasional terrible guy flick...Walking Tall being one of them. For some reason, we both think that dispensing justice freely at the end of a four by four sounds like great fun.
This was never meant to be a serious piece. I've got a few others that I'm working on that are like it. Started out with blue colored pencil for the understructure, then detailed it with regular pencil, then colored it with off-brand "magic" markers, and finally lined it with shitty ass inking pens. Nothing was ever erased, and I didn't heavily edit the scan in photoshop. So, you can still see where the lines changed and where I built up the form in some places. These are really just warm up sketches that I did pretty quickly and slapped some color on for a bit of life and fun. Then, I fucked with it in photoshop. Teh Endz.

I'm glad you like the picture. I'm not trying to sound like a jackass when I say this, but since I drew it, and it's a picture of one of my best friend's characters, if I put the blood on there, it is appropriate. How you interpret the song or the picture for that matter is up to you, but how the drawing is done is up to me and my respect for my friend's character. Maybe Deyna there is ready to back up her words with action if necessary.

And the Rock's persona from Walking Tall really does seem to fit her.
I can only imagine what invoked Deyna's rage, but I'm willing to bet it was immediately regretted.

I agree with Lonewolf up here. This was awesome. I also find it amusing (in the good way, mind you ) that this pic appears to be based on the remake version of Walking Tall, and the irony is the way they changed things around in the story. The guy playing the main character was a pro wrestler in real life at the time while the character wasn't. The irony comes into play here because the guy the story was based on had actually been a pro wrestler before he went into law enforcement.
Either way, LOVE this pic. And LoneWolf's right. You really do get a sense that The Rock coached Deyna for the shot, cause she does remind me of him here, especially once I noticed the 2x4 and realized what this was based on before I read the description, which was pretty funny to read. Keep up the awesome work.
