For 2D we had to do some positive/negative pieces using something from nature, and something man-made. Since I was on a Koi kick, I chose Koi and some gears. The object was to experiment with placement using 3 different formats. 1 Vertical, 1 Horizontal, 1 Square. We had to use our base knowledge in activating edges, playing with composition, and using the positive/negative concept. I chose to do a different technique in my composition in each format since they were all different to begin with.
