Frivolous Blocks

I'll go to favorite some art from a user I watch on this site and it will say I'm blocked, despite never saying a word to that person ever in my life; and it not being obvious to why I was blocked. I don't care about being blocked, but it doesn't make any sense when it happens.
I've come up with possible theories, but they don't add up. I don't talk about drama, I don't make edgy or sexual comments on posts, and I'm not public enemy one either, so I cannot figure out why this is happening.
Possibly it has to do with pressing "+Favorite" too much maybe? Even then, that would be an absurd reason to block someone just for enjoying your content. Otherwise, there is no logical explanation to why this is occuring unless someone slandered me behind my back, painting me like a bad guy and somehow gained traction. Can someone in the comments let me know what in the actual fuck is going on and why I've been blocked by several artists in the past month for no rhyme or reason? They should at least give the damn reason why I'm being blocked so I know what to change to prevent it from happening FFS XD (Non-verbal cues and "you know what you did" does not count as a response either, since it could literally mean anything)

From my perspective I think people just find it fun, to just randomly cut someone off with no rhyme or reason, as you said. It is really messed up that people do that.
If there’s a reason people have blocked me in particular, I’ll never know. And if I figure out what it is, they’re not gonna unblock me.
It might help, the idea that they aren’t my friends if they choose to do this to me, but that’s very hard for me given how great their art is. I could try to support them in another way but it won’t change what happened.

Point is, the human mind is weird to understand. No telling why people do the things they do on this website.
You can be blocked for your gender, sexual orientation, species, race, religion, or perceived kinks. You can be blocked for faving the "wrong" art, for watching the "wrong" users, or even for letting the "wrong" person watch you. You can be blocked because someone doesn't want anyone over 30 looking at their stuff, or because someone thinks you are a minor.
The main reason block lists exist is so users can protect themselves from unwanted harassment, but, I've never known anyone to actually use the block feature for that purpose. It usually seems to happen with people who have had no previous interactions.
You probably have a hundred times more watchers who love you, than blockers who don't like you. If you've never interacted with the person, it's safe to assume that you did nothing wrong. Strangely, I have a couple users who have blocked me, but who are watching and have even faved some of my stuff! I don't know them, and never interacted though. Maybe they just block everyone, so no one can fave their art!
They likely blocked you for a different unknown illogical reason. Blocking strangers that one has never interacted with, is not very logical after all.
i hope im not rambling too much but Uurgh i relate to that last disclaimer because being vague about details doesnt help anyone, especially someone trying to ask for clarification and the other person "uh i dont wanna type it cause its so weird but they did bad things!!" even if sometimes it's out of fear that they'll be dragged into it too
the only users i have blocked are those who i only see comment on stuff to complain about the art, or have generally been an asshole to my friends/people in general, but i dont usually care for "stay away from (random artist) they did a bad!!!" drama
but i prefer only blocking people if theyre bugging and harassing me, or at the very least doing so even when i talk to them calmly about it because i like people being able to talk about it first rather than jumping to conclusions

Even some users blocked me because of how my art style looked
Even one said “looked like a dumbass drew it”
So yeah that’s why I hate people that block me for no reason as well
Even some that takes a look at my artworks and they’ll block me for it
I only block when the person is really bad and won't change, apologize or make amends.
I don't block all willy nilly.
