I'm so happy with how this turned out...
This is the most on-target color job that I've done in a LONG time... It might be the best color job I've done, Period...!
But yeah... Again, this is Jerianaleon, a "Nebel"... sentient void energy in a shapeshifted construct shell.
I was able to get the otherworldly feel of Jeri via her wings and arms... the wings being a sort of vent for void energy, while the hands are where her magic is focused, leading to a celestial appearance to her arms...
I took some liberties with drawing this...
As I was coloring her, I noticed her hands and the void of space in her wings were a similar color... so I specked a few stars in, and got quite the fun effect within...!
To add to the unusual feel, I allowed the rim-lighting and specularl lighting to fall within the forearms, which gave it a gel-like appearance, as though space itself were sealed in her hands... And technically, it kind of is... >u o
She's a bit rubbery looking... One, due to her construct-like nature, and two, her insect-like appearance, so I went with a smooth carapace for her form.
Anyway, I hope y'all like this work... I know I do... :D
