Here, we have the enigmatic cutie, named Ariohn Silverwolfe!
Ariohn is an interesting individual... a person who over the centuries they have been alive has been exposed to multiple sorts of essences... Werehorse, Jackal, Dragon...
But... their very first ascension from humanity was lycanthropy. After that, a nasty stint in combat got them mortally wounded... And so, an experimental emergency combat nanite rejuvenation suite was applied to their body in an all-or-nothing bid for survival...
Well...
They survived, in a way. The Nanites deemed the original body too destroyed to save, but because they were hard-coded to do *Anything* to ensure their host's survival... they did the only other thing they could do...
They consumed and converted her body into more nanites, resulting in Ariohn becoming nothing more than a liquid, metallic mass of nanobots...
However, the nanites were *Also* hardwired to save the sentience of the being, no matter the cost...
And so they began to rewrite themselves to fundamentally replicate Ariohn's being... their mind and personality...
The result, was Ariohn was reborn as these nanites, able to control their movement and functions.
It took time for them to be able to reform into a solid form, and longer still to be able to resume their original form...
But they did it. And now, after so long as this being, so well practiced with it's adaptive, shapeshifting abilities, Ari looks perfectly organic, a spectrometer needed to show that something is off about her make-up. That, or occasionally more synthetic looking masses of nanites can be found performing the tasks of larger microscopic organisms within her...
That said, Ari has learned to not just cope with their new existence, but relish it, going so far as to shift their physical appearance to deliberately look more robotic. Everything from a slapdash cybernetic appearance, to a sleek robotic form akin to Megaman or Gundam, is possible for them, depending on their mood and what "Era" of technology they feel like mimicking.
"That's nice, Elizabeth" You might say... "But why the wings...?"
Well... one could assume that Ariohn grew them just for kicks, given the adaptability of their body, but... there's more to it than that.
I don't know the full specifics, but it appears that phoenix essence is also a part of their being, and it was instilled in them early in their existence...
I believe the order was Werewolf, synth, phoenix, in that order...
I do know that the essence of the phoenix, the very essence of creation itself, now powers the nanites, and are responsible for Ariohn's immortal nature. was this an adaptation of the nanites, or were they, in prototype form, instilled with this magnificent energy source in order to increase their potency as life-giving devices...?
Also, one might argue that, as a mass of nanobots mimicking Ariohn's sentience, they might not actually have a "soul"... a true sense of being, but that's for philosophers to debate. I actually think that, due to the true resurrective abilities of the phoenix, that Ari does have their true soul... either recovered after the instillation of the firebird essence, or with their soul retained during conversion, if the essence was part of the original nanite conversion process.
And so, they have lived for a little over 900 years now...
Their adventures have led them all over the place, which is why they have inadvertently picked up those other were creature essences I mentioned earlier...
But while they are a part of Ariohn, and can be teased out with the right triggers and stimuli, Their current mix of phoenix and wolf, with occasional robotic embellishments, are the most common form you will see them in.
... Like I said... kind of a Mysterious being, easily rivaling anything the Marvel Universe might throw at'cha. ~u o

Okay! So, backstory aside, this was a super-swift Bust done for my dear friend, Ariohn Silvrwolfe. I drew is strictly on a lark, for fun, and it only took me two hours, start to finish, to make! :D
The color motif was requested by Ari :)
Since this was a quickie drawing, I wasn't going to do full color, but I figured altering line and background hue (hue hue) would be quick, easy, and add an extra splash of personality to the drawing.
They wanted a "Tron" like luminescent appearance, kind of like a CRT monitor, due to their synthetic nature, and while I think my line work might be to curvy and elegant in style to really do such a color scheme justice for a computer-ey appearance, I do think that the motif gives it a gorgeous look. The elegant, glowey nature of the phoenix suits the color scheme well, too...!
And yes. Shi is a herm. But not every picture about a mixed-gender individual needs to be blatant or over-sexual, now does it...? Tu T
