Loved New Vegas, especially Old World Blues. Frankly, this struck me as something the Think Tank might give a try before becoming distracted by making an army of murderous cyber squirrels.
Really can’t believe I forgot to post him until now.
Asclepius, though he prefers to be called ‘Ace’, is an oddity in the Wasteland: he is not out to maim, eat, kill, or mutate anyone. Instead, he is doing his best to treat injuries and sickness with a disgustingly upbeat attitude and an excellent bedside manner.
He fancies himself a ‘traveling barber surgeon.’ While his hair cutting abilities are abysmal, he is an excellent medic. Additionally, his treatments made from ‘ethically and locally sourced, sustainably harvested’ ingredients due what he claims. And, what really weirds people out, his prices are extremely reasonable. Ace operates out of an old bus that he converted into a mobile medical clinic.
Ace’s personality can be a bit much. He is overly friendly, extremely perky, and oddly cute…. This is by design. The ‘Think Tank’ at BigMT got an idea to modify nightstalkers to be mobile bio-factories able to make medicines on demand. It was dubbed‘Project Panacea’. It worked really well, except for the fact that a snake/coyote hybrid were terrifying to sane individuals. The ‘Mad Scientist Convention’ thought that improvement to the package would fix this and threw their SCIENCE! at the problem making them friendly, upbeat, highly intelligent, bipedal, and giving them a bedside manner to shame the best doctors.
As far as equipment, he prefers lightweight leather armor or scrubs over a high-tech body suit (he claims is alien in origin). His primary weapon is an alien blaster but will occasionally use a syringer. His backpack, pouches, and pockets are filled with stim-packs, poultices, medication, and medical implements
